Lester Harold Jones

Lester Harold Jones, 57, of R.D. 2, Wampum, Pa, died at 4:40 a.m. on Friday,
January 30, 1976, in the Jameson Memorial Hospital, New Castle, Pa., shortly
after admission from an apparent heart attack.

He was born in Craigsville, Pa., on October 24, 1918, to William J. Jones and
the late Dora B. (Davis) Jones.

He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.

Mr. Jones was a member of West Pittsburg United Methodist Church, West
Pittsburg, Pa.; Meridian Lodge 411 F & AM of Enon Valley; the Valley of New
Castle Consistory, and he  was an Army veteran of WW II.

He had been employed for 33 years at the Babcock and Wilcox Corp. in the hot
finish department.

He is survived by his wife, the former Grace Emma Morgan, to whom he had been
married for 36 years; two sons, William H. Jones of Wampum R.D. 2, and Robert G.
Jones of Mt. Jackson; two daughters, Mrs. Robert R. (Sandra L.) Stouffer of
Greenville, Pa., and Mrs. Walter R. (Faith E.) Nottingham of Saegertown, Pa.;
his father, William J. Jones of Craigsville, Pa.; a sister Mrs. Joseph (Norma)
Campbell of Craigsville; a brother, Victor H. Jones of Worthington, Pa.; and 11
grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the R. S. Marshall Funeral Home, 341 Main Street,
Wampum, Pa., from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, and from 2:30 to 4:30 and from 7 to 9
p.m. on Saturday. The service will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 1, 1976, at the
funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Paul Aley of the church, and the Rev. Betty
Martin, former minister of the church.

Burial will be in Clinton Cemetery, Wampum, Pa.
