Grace Emma Morgan Jones Eichhorn

Grace Emma Morgan Jones Eichhorn, 89, of West Pittsburg, formerly of Wampum,
died Wednesday, August 6, 2008, in Kindred Care Hospital, Beaver, following a
brief illness.

Born October 18, 1918, in Westmoreland County, she was a daughter of the late
Bert George and Emma Marie (Funk) Morgan.

She was a 1937 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.

She was married for 36 years to Lester H. Jones, who died Jan. 30, 1976, and
then to John A. Eichhorn, who died Jan. 11, 2001. She was a homemaker and a
devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Mrs. Eichhorn enjoyed embroidery and quilting with friends from the area and
with members of Wampum Presbyterian Church, where she was an active member. She
entered quilts in the Lawrence County Fair, where she won numerous ribbons. In
addition, she enjoyed AARP and Forever Young Ones of the church. She enjoyed
playing bingo, and traveled extensively abroad and visited all 50 states.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, William H. and Sally Jones of
Wampum, and a son and his companion, Robert D. Jones and Nancy of New
Wilmington; two daughters and their spouses, Sandra and Robert R. Stouffer of
Greenville, and Faith and Walter R. Nottingham of Saegertown; stepchildren and
their spouses, Jean Gerdes of Taylor, Mich., Craig Eichhorn, and John A. and
Anita Eichhorn, all of Florida, Keith and Marilyn Eichhorn of Pickerington,
Ohio, and Rodney and Vicki Eichhorn of Beaver.

She also leaves behind a brother, James D. Morgan of Greenville; a half sister,
Annabelle R. Beardsley of Pittsburgh; 12 grandchildren; 14 step-grandchildren;
21 great-grandchildren; 18 step-great-grandchildren; and three
step-great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; stepfather, Blaine Emory
Claypool; four sisters, Mary L. Overdorff, and Sarah E. Morgan, Zelma M. Morgan
and Alberta E. Morgan; three brothers, George E. Morgan, William M. Morgan and
Robert N. Morgan; and a half brother, Edward B. Claypool.

Visiting hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today, August 8, 2008,
in the MARSHALL FUNERAL HOME, Wampum, where a funeral service will be held on
Saturday, August 9, 2008, at 11 a.m. with her pastor, Rev. Dr. William R.
McGary, officiating.

Interment will follow in Clinton Cemetery, Wampum, Pa.
