Jenny Irene Croyle Campbell

Jenny Irene (Croyle) Campbell, 82, of 117 Lane Ave., Punxsutawney, Pa. died
Tuesday, March 21, 2000 in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa.

She was born March 11, 1918 in Kittanning, Pa. to Amos J. and Ivy G. (Tarr)
Croyle.

A 1937 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.

She was the member of the First Baptist Church of Punxsutawney for 55 years.

She was an avid reader and made many quilts.

Survivors include two sons, William Richard Campbell of Punxsutawney RD 2 and
John Todd Campbell of New Cumberland, Pa.; two daughters, Sherry A. Campbell
Rupp and Lou Ellen Campbell Cipolla, both of Punxsutawney; 17 grandchildren; 20
great-grandchildren; one brother, Richard E. Croyle of Harleysville, Pa.; two
sisters, Bette M. Wallwork of Punxsutawney and Delores J. Valek of Ford City,
Pa.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William J. Campbell, whom
she married May 24, 1937; one son, Joel Campbell; two daughters, Sally Forsyth
and Amy Sue Gianvito; one grandson, Billy Ray Rupp; four brothers, William J.
Croyle, Albert B. Croyle, James Miller Croyle and infant brother, Rayburn F.
Croyle; and three sisters, Zelma E. Frankham, Henrietta F. Mikesell and infant
sister, Alice M. Croyle.

Friends of Jenny I. (Croyle) Campbell, 82, of 117 Lane Ave., Punxsutawney, who
died March 21, 2000, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, March
22, at the Wayne W. Pifer Funeral Home in Punxsutawney, where funeral services
will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 23 with Rev. Mary Lewis, officiating.

Burial will be in Lakelawn Memorial Park near Reynoldsville, Pa.

The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis
Society or the Memorial Board of the First Baptist Church of Punxsutawney.
