Stewart Arthur Claypoole
Stewart Arthur Claypoole, 92, died Friday, January. 28, 2011, in Vero Beach,
Fla.
He was born, August 7, 1918, in Worthington, PA, the son of Arthur C. and S.
Olive (Edwards) Claypoole
He was a 1937 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.
He served in the Army Air Forces during World War II.
He was a graduate of Penn State with a degree in ceramic engineering and was
retired from Corning Glass Works.
Survivors include a sister, Jean Elgin, of Kittanning; two daughters, Kathleen
Messersmith and Carol Kristobak; two sons, William Claypoole and Russell
Claypoole; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Arthur and Olive Claypoole, he was preceded in death
by his wife, Priscilla Claypoole; and brother, Ernest Claypoole.
Interment in Fountainhead Memorial Park, Palm Bay, Fl.
