Anna Mae Bauer Anderson

Anna Mae Bauer Anderson, 94, of Butler, Pa., passed away Thursday, July 3, 2014,
at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Butler. 

She was born May 18, 1920, in Worthington, Pa., the daughter of the late Harry
L. and Sara (Swartzlander) Bauer. 

She was a 1937 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa. 

Anna was a member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Butler. 

She was a homemaker, loved to sew and make crafts and quilts. She and her
husband enjoyed western square dancing. 

Surviving are four daughters, Patricia K. Anderson of New Castle, Pa., Joy
Charlane (Ronald) Rimer of Butler, Catherine A. (George A.) Eberhardt of
Kentucky and Tammy L. (Robert L.) Beilstein of Butler; seven grandchildren;
eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Joyce Knight of Knox, Pa., and Jessie
Olive Best of Knox; and one brother, Harley Ross (Nancy M.) Bauer of Franklin,
Pa. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Anderson Jr., who died on
Nov. 13, 1978; three sisters, Dorothea Maxine Cochrane, Mary Jane Bowser and
Verna Pearl Flick; and an infant brother, Harry L. Bauer Jr. 

Friends of Anna Mae Anderson, who died Thursday, July 3, 2014, will be received
at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler from noon until the time
of service at 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Mary Malloy officiating. 

Private interment will be in Butler County Memorial Park, Butler, Pa.
