John Munson Aiken

John Munson Aiken, 55, of 901 Lincoln Ave., Grove City, died at 11:30 p.m.
Sunday, October 26, 1975, in the Roswell Park Memorial Institute, Buffalo, N.Y.,
after a lengthy illness.

Born in Lawrence County, December 23, 1919, he was the son of Arthur L. and
Evelyn (White) Aiken.

He was a 1937 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.

A salesman for Atlas Chemical Company, he was a graduate of Worthington-West
Franklin High School in the Class of 1937, and of Staunton Military Academy and
Grove City College.

He had served in World War II in the U.S. Army, and was a member of the Tower
United Presbyterian Church, F and AM Lodge 603, and the Elks Lodge, all of Grove
City, and the Grove City Country Club.

Surviving are his wife, Marilyn (Wallace) Aiken, whom he married in 1952; two
daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Sue) Moore of Grove City and Kay Ellen Aiken of
Pittsburgh; his mother, Mrs. Evelyn Aiken; two sisters, Mrs. John (Stella)
Waliga of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, and Mrs. William (Jane) Menzies of Grove City
and a brother, James A. Aiken of Holiday Park.

Friends of John M. Aiken of 901 Lincoln Ave., Grove City, who died Sunday, Oct.
26, 1975, will be received at the John C. Dorr Funeral Home, Grove City, form 2
to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m.
Thursday from the funeral home, with the Rev. James A. Bigley, pastor of Tower
United Presbyterian Church, Grove City, officiating. 

Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Grove City, Pa.
