William Luther Smith
William Luther Smith of Kittanning, passed away March 8, 1979, of congestive
heart failure.
He was born in West Franklin Township, Armstrong County, on July 20, 1918, a son
of Charles Herbert and Elizabeth (Bouch) Smith.
He was a 1936 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.
He was employed by Kittanning Asphalt Co.
He served with the U. S. Army, serving in the South Pacific.
He belonged to the West Glade Run Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mary (Woodall) sons, William W., Larry, Randall R.,
Ronald R., daughters, Carol (Vincent) Fallecker, and Lorraine (John) Reed,
brothers, Herbert, Earl and Edwin and sister Catherine Anderson.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son Derald, brothers, Mark
and John and sister Florence Giff.
Interment in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, Pa.
