Walter Carl Pence
Walter Carl Pence, 68, of Worthington, Pa., passed away March 13, 1986.
He was born March 13, 1918, the son of Ray A. and Golda E. (Smith) Pence.
He was a 1936 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.
He was WWII Veteran, serving in the US Army - (1942-1946)
In his later years, he operated a small grocery store on E. Main St.,
Worthington.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma. Also survived by two nieces, Barbara A.
Patterson of Elkton, Md. and Nancy Grace Hidinger Riley of Freeport, Pa., one
nephew, Walter Harold Dougherty of Kittanning, Pa.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one one sister, Phyllis
Mae (Pence) Dougherty, August 9, 1969 and a niece, Gloria Geraldine Turney, May
15, 1963.
Interment in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, Pa.
