Josephine Marie Panzarello Carbone
Josephine Marie Panzarello Carbone of Campbell, CA, passed away quickly
April,25,2016 at her home, just 2 weeks shy of her 97th birthday.
She was born in Echo, PA, on May 8, 1919, a daughter of John E. and Santina
(Pacey) Panzarello.
She was a 1936 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School,
Worthington,PA.
She went on to become a registered nurse working in public health for over 30
years.
She was life-long member of St. Lucy's Catholic Church in Campbell.
After retirement she spent much of her time volunteering for food pantries and
child services.
Even though she suffered from dementia in her final years, she continued to
maintain an avid interest in completing crossword puzzles. She was also known
for her lovely flower garden.
She is survived by her daughters, Christine and Loret of Campbell, Ca., three
sisters Jennie Anderson of Frederick, MD., Ethel L. Obenauer of Herndon, VA. and
Pauline Rose Hayes of Lake Charles, LA.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Salvatore N.and
brothers, Gabriel, Charles and Edward.
She was buried in a private ceremony next to her husband at Los Gatos Memorial
Park, San Jose, Ca.
