Gordon Thorpe Marks
A former Worthington resident, Gordon Thorpe Marks, 53, of Rayen St., Arleta,
Calif., died Thursday, July 9, 1970 at his home following a one-year illness.
He was born February 12, 1917 in Minnesota to Rev. Frances B. and Martha
(Campbell) Marks.
He graduated in 1936 from Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.
He was a World War II Army veteran, having served in the Battle of the Bulge
Survivors include his wife, Faye Lorene (Duggan) two brothers, John Marks of
North East, Pa., and Alex Marks of Sunland, Calif.; and two sisters, Marie J.
Stewart and Naomi Ruth (James) Clark, both of North Hollywood, Calif.
Funeral service for Gordon T. Marks of Arleta, Calif., who died July 9, 1970,
will be held Saturday morning, July 11, 1970 at the Eckerman Funeral Home in
Burbank, Calif.
Interment in Eternal Valley Cemetery, Newhall, Ca.
