Theodore Monroe James

Theodore Monroe James, of Freeport, passed away December 30, 1978.

He was born September 13, 1918, the son of Thomas B. and Lyda B. (Keener)
James.

He was a 1936 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington
Pa.

He was a member and elder in the Shrader Grove Presbyterian Church.

He served in the Army during WW II and and was prisoner of war from the Battle
of the Bulge.

He was employed as a security guard at Allegheny Ludlum, West Leechburg, for 35
years.

He played the fiddle for a country and western band and enjoyed traveling and
gardening.

He is survived by his wife, Jean, two daughters, Linda James and Mrs. Edwin
(Tammy) Spangler, both of South Buffalo Township; two sons, Larry Thomas James
of Harwick and Theodore R. James of South Buffalo Township.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Interment in Worthington Presbyterian Cemetery, Worthington, Pa.
