Durwood Raymond Holtzhauer Holmes
Durwood Raymond Holmes of Sacramento, Ca., passed away April 7, 1995.
He was born August 22, 1917, in Worthington, a son of Fred J. and Margaret Ellen
(Fullerton) Holtzhauer.
He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.
He served in the US Air Force for 23 years and flew 52 missions from Tinian, in
the Pacific Ocean theatre, during WW II.
He is survived by wife, Dortha M. (Barnett) Holmes and daughter, Peggy Shuchter,
brother Charles Ernest and half-siblings Willard N. Coe JR.(2003), Craig J. Coe
(1995) and Leone E. Lewis (1999).
He was preceased by his parents.
Interment in Sierra Hills Memorial Park, Sacramento, Ca.
