Dorothy Marie Grafton Fleming
Dorothy Marie (Grafton) Fleming, 86, of 501 Arthur St., Kittanning, died Sunday,
December 21, 2003 at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, East Franklin Township.
She was born May 11, 1917 in Worthington to Judson and Mabel (Bruner) Grafton.
She was a 1936 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.
Mrs. Fleming was a homemaker.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Kittanning.
She enjoyed sewing, cooking knitting and crafts.
Survivors include one daughter, Patsy J. Fleming of Kittanning.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Harry R. "Hap"
Fleming who died in 1986 and to whom she was married for 49 years; one son,
Richard Fleming; one infant daughter; two brothers, Dale and Carl "Mike"
Grafton; and two sisters, Hazel Heckman and Carrie Belle Roudybush.
Friends of Dorothy M. (Grafton) Fleming, 86, of 501 Arthur St., Kittanning, who
died Dec. 21, 2003, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Kennedy &
Blodgett Funeral Home, Inc., 253 N. Grant Ave., Kittanning, where funeral
services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday with the Rev. John W. Snyder of St.
Luke's United Church of Christ, Kittanning, officiating.
Burial will be in Kittanning Cemetery, Kittaning, Pa.
The family requests memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer
Society.
