Donald Wilson Claypool

Donald Wilson Claypool, 84, of Holiday Hill, Lexington, Ohio, died Monday, June
21, 2004 in The Inn at HillenVale in Mount Vernon, after a long illness.

He was born December 16, 1919 in Worthington to Clark H. and Ada R. (Wilson)
Claypool.

Mr. Claypool worked in production and engineering with PPG Industries for 36
years.

He was a 1936 Worthington West High School graduate and earned his bachelor of
science degree in engineering from Grove City College in 1940.

He attended Berean Baptist Church.

He was a member of Pollock Lodge 502 F&AM, Tarentum, Shriners in Pittsburgh and
Syria Temple.

Survivors include his wife Mary Jane (Lloyd) Claypool, whom he married Oct. 16,
1943; two sons, Jeffrey Claypool and wife Karen of Greensboro, N.C., David
Claypool and wife Herta of Gainesville, Va.; one daughter, Thella and husband
Don Boyce of Lexington; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one
sister, Esther McCormick and husband Jack of Natrona Heights; and one
sister-in-law, Cleo Claypool of Worthington. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Russell Claypool.

Interment in Oak Grove Memorial Park, Lexington, Oh.
