Clarence Rayburn Bowser

Clarence Rayburn Bowser, 82, of Worthington died Saturday, August 11, 2001 at
Veterans Administration Hospital in Butler.

He was born October 17, 1918 in Armstrong County to Rayburn and Florence G.
(Claypoole) Bowser.

He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.

Mr. Bowser was retired from Penn Dixie. An Army veteran, he served during World
War II. He was a life member of the Buffalo Valley Beagle Club.

Survivors include one son, Robert L. Bowser of Slate Lick; two daughters,
Shirley M. Bowser of Craigsville and Donna L. Fahlor of Cowansville; four
grandchildren, Curtis Fahlor, Casey Bowser, Chad Bowser and Beverly Hika; two
great-grandsons; one great-granddaughter; and four brothers, Carl H., Frank M.,
and Roy E., all of Worthington and Wayne M. Bowser of Oil City.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mabel (Long) Bowser, who died
in November 1992; one grandson, Lonnie Bowser; one granddaughter, Amy Bowser;
one great-grandson; and two brothers Glenn G. and Kenneth J. Bowser.

Interment in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, Pa.
