Richard August Bofinger
Richard August Bofinger, 75, of RD 3, Kittanning, Pa, died Friday, February 28,
1992 at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, Kittanning.
He was born July 30, 1916, in Jefferson County to Albert C. and Ida E.
(Altheide) Bofinger.
He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.
He retired from Snyder Associates Co. (Kittanning), in 1982. Mr. Bofinger was a
member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church, Worthington, Pa.
Survivors include his wife, Thelma A. (Helsel) Bofinger, whom he married in
1980; a son, Richard Orville Bofinger of Butler, Pa.; a brother Charles Albert
Bofinger of Venice, Fla.; two granddaughters, Victoria E. Bofinger of
Worthington and Mrs. Jeffrey R. (Lisa R.) Danko of New Kensington, Pa., and a
great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Evadell Marie (Bowser) Bofinger who
died July 14, 1977; an infant son, Larry Charles Bofinger 6/30/1947-9/4/1947;
two brothers, Orville Edward Bofinger Sr. who passed away October 27, 1967, and
an infant brother, Arnold Bofinger; and two grandsons, infant Richard George
Bofinger, and Michael David Bofinger who passed away in 1979.
Richard August Bofinger, 75, of RD 3, Kittanning, Pa, died Friday, February 28,
1992, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, March 1, 1992 and 2 to 4 and 7
to 9 p..m Monday, March 2, 1992 at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home in
Worthington. Visitation will also be Tuesday, March 3, 1992 at 10 a.m. at the
Evangelical Lutheran Church of Worthington, until services begin there at 11
a.m. with the Rev. Donald Worth officiating.
Burial will follow in Worthington Lutheran Church Cemetery, Worthington, Pa.
