Dora Ann Claypool Snyder
Dora Ann (Claypool) Snyder, 79, of 220 Wallace Avenue, Leechburg, died Saturday,
May 18, 1996 at the Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights.
She was born May 3, 1917 in Worthington to Lawrence and Iva (Henderson)
Claypool.
She was member of Hebron Evangelical Lutheran Church, Leechburg.
She lived at her Wallace Avenue residence in Leechburg for the past 50 years.
She enjoyed china painting, traveling and sewing as her hobbies.
Surviors include one son, David L Snyder of Markle, Allegheny Township: two
grandaughters; two great grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Robert (Verna)
Morgan of Worthington.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Burdette Edward Snyder,
who died on July 13, 1979, one brother William Clapool, and three sisters, Hazel
Adams, Mabel Claypool and Betty Ellison.
Friends of Dora A. Snyder,79, of 220 Wallace Avenue, Leechburg, who died May 18,
1996, will be received form 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Clawson's, A
Cummunity Care Funeral Home, Second at Main, Leechburg. Funeral services will
be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Hebron Evangelical Lutheran Church, Leechburg,
with her pastor, the Rev. Edward Sheehan, officiating.
Internment wil follow in the Worthington Lutheran Church Cemetery, Worthington,
Pa.
