Fanny Velma Bowser Robinson Elsenrath

Fanny "Velma" (Bowser) Robinson Elsenrath, 85, of Indiana Haven Nursing Home,
Indiana, Pa., died Saturday, May 26, 2001, at the home.

She was born in Worthington, October 20, 1915 to Luther and Delilah (Bouch)
Bowser.

She graduated with the 1935 class from Worthington-West Franklin High School,
Worthington, Pa.

She was a self-employed as a beautician in Worthington for 25 years.

She was a member of the Homewood Baptist Church, Logansport Road, Ford City, Pa.
She played piano on the radio for many services at the church. She felt it was
her calling to praise her Lord through her music.

Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Alfred B. Elsenrath of Indiana; one
son, Luther Harold Robinson of Indiana; one stepson, Thomas H. Robinson of
Tarentum, Pa.; one stepdaughter, Dorothy Hayes of Sagamore, Pa.; four
grandchildren, Kathi Diane Smith, Lianna S. Empfield, Jodi Lynn Cunkelman and
Heidi Ann Hill; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Thomas Robinson in
1970; one son, Lloyd James Robinson on June 20, 1959; one brother, Harvey H.
Bowser; and one sister, Mary Lois Foringer.

Friends of Fanny "Velma" (Bowser) Robinson Elsenrath, 85, of Indiana, who died
May 26, 2001, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2001, and from
1 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2001, until the time of services at 2 p.m. at the F.
Duane Snyder Funeral Home, 424 Bear St., Worthington, with Rev. R. Dean McKee,
officiating.

Burial will be in Worthington United Presbyterian Cemetery, Worthington, Pa.

The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Homewood Baptist
Church.
