Dominic Rugini

Domemic Rugini, 74, of 226 Butler Road, Kittanning, died Saturday, February 16,
1991, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Butler

Born September 17, 1916, in Conifer, he was a son of Joseph and Gertrude (Monti)
Rugini.

He was a member of the second graduating class of Worthington High School in
1934.

Mr. Rugini lived in the Kittanning area most of his life and was employed as a
caster at Eljer Pottery in Ford City for 25 years.

He was a an Army veteran of World War ii, serving in the 99th Infantry
Division.

He was a member of St. Marys Roman Catholic Church, Kittanning, the Knights of
Columbus of Kittanning, the Kittanning VFW, and was a former member of the
Kittanning Men's Club.

Surviving are his wife, Ruby (Yockey) Rugini; a son, Joseph Rugini of St.
Petersburg, Fla.; five daughters, Patricia Rugini of Lower Burrell, Mrs Leslie
(Elizabeth) Brice of Ford City, Mrs. Robert (Susan) Fidler of Reading, Mrs.
Keith (Paula) Krammes of Pottsville and Mrs. Mark (Annette) Normile of Library;
two sisters, Inez Sarachene of Ohio and Violet Selva of Kittanning; seven
grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter and a sister, Mary.

Friends of Domenic Rugini of 226 Butler Road, Kittanning, who died Saturday,
Feb. 16, 1991, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 go 9 p.m. Monday at the
Mantini Funeral Home, 701 Sixth Ave., Ford City. A prayer service will be held
from the funeral home at 7 p.m. Monday. A Mass of Christian burial will be held
at 11 a.m. Tuesday from St. Marys Roman Catholic Church, Kittanning, with the
Revs. Thomas Bertolina, pastor and Henry Prenata, pastor of the VA medical
center in Butler, officiating. 

Burial will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, Pa.
