Beatrice Rose McKee Scott
Beatrice Rose (McKee) Scott, 92, of Alexandria, Va., died Wednesday, August 27,
2008.
She was born June 9, 1916 at the McKee Farm, Worthington to Raymond Lee and
Margaret Florina (Henry) McKee.
She was a 1934 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, were she was a
member of the Champion 1933/1934, Worthington-West Franklin High School Girls
Basketball Team.
She had worked in airline administration/accounting for approximately 30 years
starting with Capital Airlines and retired from US Air.
She is survived by her husband, Harry Francis Scott Sr, and one son, Harry
Francis Scott Jr. and his wife, Julia; one sister, Gladys E. Rigsby of
Washington, DC.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Wilbur H. and Thomas C.
McKee; four sisters, M. Gertrude Goodbread, Mildred McKee, Marguerite J. Schick
Trindal and Dorothy E. Brownlee.
Friends of Beatrice Rose (McKee) Scott, 92, of Alexandria, who died Aug. 27,
2008, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Everly Wheatley Funeral
Home, 1500 West Braddock Road, Alexandria, Va. Graveside services will be held
at Mt. Comfort Cemetery on Saturday, Aug. 30, 2008 at 11 a.m.
Interment in Mt. Comfort Cemetery, Alexandria, Va
