Randall Snyder Claypoole

Randall Snyder Claypoole, 72, of 218 Bear Creek Road, Sarver, Pa., died Monday,
July 4, 1988, at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights, Pa.

He was born October 17, 1915, in West-Franklin Township to the late Chambers H.
Claypoole and Edith B. (Snyder) Claypoole Heilman.

He graduated with the (Class of 1934) from Worthington-West Franklin High
School, Worthington, Pa.

He lived in Sarver area most of his life and was owner and president of
Claypoole Liquid Seed Inc. He was a charter member of Allegheny Valley Baptist
Church of Natrona Heights, deacon and present moderator of the church, Sunday
school teacher and licentiate. He was a board member of American Baptist Church
and a member of the board of directors of the National Ministries of A.B.C.

Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Marie Priscilla (Smith) Claypoole; one son,
Randall Stuart Claypoole of Aurora, Colo.; three daughters, Mrs. John (Martha)
Mitchell and Mrs. J. Robert (April Elaine) McAfee, both of Pittsburgh, Pa., and
Mrs. Thomas B. (Nanette M.) Fitzpatrick Jr. of Newtown, Pa.; two sisters, Mrs.
Leroy (C. Marie) Hepler of Freeport, Pa., and Mrs. Joseph H. (Juanita L.) Dickey
of Kittanning, Pa.; three brothers, Roy V. Claypoole of Port Charlotte, Fla., E.
Lloyd Claypoole of Sanford, N.C. and Chambers H. Claypoole Jr. of Kittanning;
his step-father, James H. Heilman of Worthington; five grandchildren; and
several step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers; Clarence R. Claypoole and Carl J.
Claypoole; two sisters, Genevieve C. Kueppers and V. June Williams.

Friends of Randall Snyder Claypoole, 72, of 218 Bear Creek Road, Sarver, Pa.,
who died Monday, July 4, 1988, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Wednesday, July 6, 1988, at the Robert E. Peters Funeral Home, 1521 Freeport
Road, Natrona Heights. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July
7, 1988, at Allegheny Valley Baptist Church in Natrona Heights with the Rev.
Richard Hampton officiating.

Burial will follow in Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Dorseyville, Pa.
