Helen Patricia Young Milligan Goepfert
Helen Patricia Young Milligan Goepfert of Westminster, Ca., passed away April
28, 2015.
She was born January 23, 1915, in Fenelton, a daughter of John Daniel and Olive
(Hindman) Young.
She was the last surviving graduate of the class of 1933 from Worhington-West
Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.
Prior to moving to California where she worked for Lane Bryant as a seamtrest,
she worked for Spades in Butler, also as a seamstrest. She continued sewing at
her home in California, where she made beautiful men's suits and women's
dresses.
She was of the Methodist faith and her favorite hobby was dancing.
She is survived by sisters, Frances McAfoose and Virginia Franko, two grandsons,
Daniel and Christopher Milligan and two great grandchildren, Daniel and Mandi
Milligan, all of California.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, William
Milligan, second husband Milton, a son, Ronald Milligan and a sister, Esther
Garing Ray.
Funeral service was private.
Cremation with burial in Forrest Lawn Cemetary, Cypress, Ca.
