Elizabeth Irene Lewis Stewart
Elizabrth Irene Lewis Stewart, 80, of Overlook Medical Clinic, formerly of 233
High Street, New Wilmington, Pa., died at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 19, 1994,
at Jameson Memorial Hospital, New Castle, Pa. after an extended illness.
She was born August 19, 1913, in Worthington, Pa. to Perry Newton and Clara Jane
(Gaiser) Newton. They preceded her in death.
She graduated in 1933 with the first graduating class of Worthington High
School, Worthington, Pa.
She was married to David Willian Stewart. He died April 21, 1967.
Mrs. Stewart is survived by a son, John M. of Panama City, Fla.;one sister, Vera
Catherine Kinter of Meadville, Pa.;one brother, Samuel Charles Lewis of
Greenville, Pa.; and one grandchild.
Also preceding her in death were a son, David W., and two brothers, Carl Leroy
Lewis on December 25, 1989 and John Newton Lewis, December 23, 1988.
Visiting hours will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, at the Service will
be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 21, 1994 at the the funeral home.
Interment will be in Oak Park Cemetery, New Castle, Pa.
