Alma Geraldine Hays
Alma "Geraldine" Hays, 85, of 541 Butler Road, Kittanning, Pa. (East Franklin
Township), died Monday, July 10, 2000 at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital,
East Franklin Township.
She was born June 7, 1915 in West Kittanning to Arthur C. and Jessie S. (John)
Hays.
She graduated in 1933 with the first graduating class from Worthington-West
Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.
Miss Hays was the assistant head cashier at the former Kittanning A & P Grocery
Store.
Survivors include one niece, Betty Barker of Kittanning.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Eleanor Irene Taylor.
HAYS - Friends of Alma Geraldine Hays, 85, of 541 Butler Road, Kittanning, who
died July 10, 2000, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at
Bauer Funeral Home, 515 N. McKean St., Kittanning, where funeral services will
be held at 2 p.m. Thursday with her pastor, the Rev. John W. Snyder,
officiating.
Interment will take place in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, Pa.
The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke's United
Church of Christ and/or Orphans of the Storm.
