Ruth Wildo Cessna Claypool
Ruth Wildo (Cessna) Claypool, wife of Leonard Claypool of Worthington, died, May
23, 1941 in Kittanning Hospital Friday afternoon.
She was 25 years old, born July 24, 1915, in Indiana, Pa., a daughter of George
Frank Cessna and Ruth W. (Shields) Cessna.
She was a member of the first graduating class of Worthington High School.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her father, George F. Cessna,
Worthington RD 2; five sisters: Mrs. Ivan Claypool and Mrs Thomas Kerr,
Worthington: Mrs John Laney, Cherry Tree; Mrs Blair Meckley, La Jose, Pa.; and
Mrs Hugh Burke, Fenelton; and two brothers: Wm. C. Cessna, Glen Campbell, RD 2
and Frank Cessna, Worthington.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. (DST) today in the Worthington
Baptist Church. The Rev. Lawrence Bailey will officiate.
Interment in Franklin Union Baptist Cemetery, Worthington, Pa. |
