George Frank Cessna JR

George Frank Cessna, 45, of East Brady RD 1 died December. 23, 1960 in
Deshon Veteran Hospital, Butler at 1 a.m. Friday, from a heart condition. 

He was born in Indiana County July 24, 1915, a son of Frank Cessna and the late
Ruth (Shields) Cessna.

He was a member of the first graduating class of Worthington High School. 

He was a veteran of World War II and spent 24 months of service in the European
Theater.

Mr. Cessna was a member of the Glade Run Presbyterian Church. 

He is survived by his wife, Mildred Templeton Cessna, one son Thomas at home,
his father George F. Cessna of Worthington, one brother, William C Cessna Sr. of
Glen Campbell; five sisters: Mrs Ivan (Bertha) Claypoole of Worthington; Mrs H R
(Naomi Mae) Burke of Worthington; Mrs John (Goldie) Laney of Cherry Tree; Mrs B
W (Minerva) Meckley of Rossiter; Mrs Jessie A. (Thomas) Kerr of Farrell.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Cessna and a sister, Ruth Wildo
Claypool.

Friends are received at the Walker Funeral Home in Worthington where services
will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, December 26.  The Rev. M. A. Bellinger, his
pastor, will officiate. 

Interment will follow in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, Pa.
