L. Ruth Streightif

L. Ruth (Stivason) Streightif, 85, of Kittanning RD3 (Walkchalk) died Sunday,
Feb. 29, 2004 at her residence.

She was born March 30, 1918 to Arch and Grace (McCollum) Stivason. 

Mrs. Streightif was a homemaker. 

She was a member of the Cen-ter Hill Church of the Brethren, where she was a
former choir director. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. 

Survivors include one son, Ronald E. Streightif of Kittanning; four grandsons,
Todd Streightif, Terry Streightif, Eric Streightif and Keith Streightif; and two
sisters, Mrs. Albert (Kathleen "Neen") Round of Ford City and Faye Seybert of
Butler. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Norris B.
Streightif, who died in 1972; and two brothers, Raymond E. and Dean Stivason. 

Friends of L. Ruth (Stivason) Streightif, 85, of Kittanning RD3 (Walkchalk), who
died Feb. 29, 2004, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to
9 p.m. Tuesday at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, Inc., 200 S. McKean St.,
Kittanning. Additional visitation will be held from 10 a.m. Wednesday at the
Center Hill Church of the Brethren until funeral services at 11 a.m. with her
pastor, the Rev. Dr. Wes Berkebile, officiating. 

Burial will be in the Center Hill Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Center Hill,
Pa. 

The family requests memorial contributions may be made to the Choir Fund at
Center Hill Church of the Brethren.
