Viola Pearl Bowser

Viola Pearl Bowser, 82, of Worthington, Pa., died Sunday, September 29, 1991 at
her residence.
 
She was born February 5, 1909 in Kittanning, Pa., to Edward A. and Hattie
(McDermott) Bowser.
 
A retired Armstrong School District cafeteria worker, Mrs. Bowser was a member
of the Worthington Area Senior Citizens and the Worthington Presbyterian Church,
where she was a member of the church choir, adult Sunday School class and the
Missionary Society.
 
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Arlene P. McDaniel of Parker, Pa., and
Kathy I. Bowser of Worthington; two grandsons, William Bruce and Jeffery Allen
McDaniel; a brother, Edward "John" Bowser of Buffalo, N.Y.; three sisters, Mrs.
Delores Ambrose of RD 1, Adrian, Pa., Mrs. Roberta Good and Mrs. Mabel (Carl)
Adams, both of Worthington.
 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry
"Willard" Bowser in 1974; two brothers, Howard Richard "Bud" Bowser and Raymond
Bowser; four sisters, Vivian Blose, Ada Marie Morrison, Mary Lou Morrison and
Louella Bowser.
 
Friends of Viola P. Bowser, 82, of Worthington, Pa., who died Sunday, Sept. 29,
1991, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Tuesday at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home in Worthington. Visitation will also
be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Worthington Presbyterian Church, until services
begin thee at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Jonathan Speck, pastor, officiating.
 
Burial will follow in Worthington Presbyterian Cemetery, Worthington, Pa.
 
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Worthington-West
Franklin Library or the Worthington Presbyterian Church.
