John E Wilhelm
John E. Wilhelm, age 81, passed away August 23, 1992. He was living in Hampton
SC. area.
He was born June 11, 1910, in the Kittanning area, as son of Elmer E. and Adelia
(Kelly) Wilhelm.
A graduate of Westminster College, where he was a teacher and basketball coach.
He was a part of the faculty of Worthington-West Franklin High School for the
1935-1936 and 1936-1937 school years.
He retired from Westinghouse Corp. after 35 years as an accountant and
comptroller.
He was a member of the Hampton Presbyterian Church, where he was treasurer for
20 years.
He survived by his wife, Dorothy E. Wilhelm; sons, William of Irving TX; and
Weston of Hilton Head; a daughter, JoAnn of Colonia, NJ; a brother, Harold of
Knox, Pa; a sister, Anabel Chadwick of El Paso, Tx; and four grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sister, Ethel I. Schall.
Services for John E. Wilhelm will be held at 1 p.m. at the Peoples-Rhoden
Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Hampton Presbyterian Church.
