Nancy Ann Eckner
 
Nancy Ann Eckner, 24, or 557 Fourth St., Butler, Pa., died at 7 a.m. this
morning, Friday, June 4, 1976 in Butler County Memorial Hospital, Butler, Pa.
She suffered head injuries in a one-car accident last Saturday. Miss Eckner was
thrown from the car when it went out of control and flipped over on Route 422 at
the intersection with Routes 38 and 68.
 
Miss Eckner was born October 9, 1951 in Kittanning, a daughter of Robert J. and
Pauline (Miller) Eckner, both of whom survive. She is survived also by two
brothers, Ronald T. Eckner of Cleveland, Ohio and Richard A. Eckner of
Pittsburgh, Pa., and her grandmother, a Kittanning resident.
 
She was raised in the Ford City area and graduated from Ford City High School in
1969, and from Edinboro State College, Edinboro, Pa., in 1973. She was employed
part time as an art teacher at Worthington-West Franklin High School,
Worthington, Pa.
 
She was a member of the first Presbyterian Church, Ford City, Pa.
 
Friends of Nancy Ann Eckner who died June 4, 1976, may call from 7 to 9 p.m.
Friday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Amberson Bauer Funeral Home,
Kittanning where services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday by Rev. Raymond Eichler,
pastor and Rev. Peter Surgenor, assistant pastor of Ford City Presbyterian
Church.
 
Burial will take place in Saxonburg Cemetery, Saxonburg, Pa.
