Patricia Westwood
Patricia M. (Beatty) Westwood, 84, of Laurinburg, went home to be with the Lord
on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Cambridge Hills Assisted Living Facility in
Pittsboro, NC.
Born January 21, 1937 in Westmoreland County, PA, she was the daughter of the
late Charles and Frances Augusta Anderson Beatty.
Pat was a graduate of Indiana State Teachers College (IUP) with a B.S. degree in
Home Economics.
She played the organ at First Baptist Church of Waynesburg and Rowland
Presbyterian Church in NC. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in
Laurinburg, NC and also of First Baptist Church of Waynesburg, PA and of
Kittanning, PA.
She is survived by daughter, Sandra Westwood Brady Bacon (Bob) of Graham, NC;
sons, Mark Daniel Westwood of Butler, PA and Jeffery Glenn Westwood of
Kittanning, PA; and grandchildren, Ian Eckman, Grace Brady, Angell Brady Buie,
Megan Brady Martinez and Glenn Westwood. She also has beloved great
grandchildren that brought her much joy.
She is preceded in death by Jack R. Westwood, her loving spouse of almost 60
years.
Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Lawn Haven Burial Estates
in Worthington, PA, under the care of Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cambridge Hills Assisted Living in
Pittsboro, NC, or First United Methodist Church Laurinburg, NC.
