Dorothy Elizabeth Vinton Porter Warns
Dorothy Elizabeth "Betty" Vinton Porter Warns, of Alexandria, Va., passed away
January 14, 1996.
She was born November 18, 1918, in Indiana, Pa., a daughter of Fred R. and
Florence I. (Beaver) Vinton
She was a 1940 graduate of Indiana State Teachers College, Indiana, PA.
She was a part of the faculty of Worthington-West Franklin High School for the
1940-1941 school year.
She is survived by her husband James Thomas Warns, and brothers, Samuel R. and
David P., and sister, Martha Gardner.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Harold T., Ralph
D., and Charles L. Vinton.
Burial in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.
