Mildred A Dimmitt Slease Paup

Mildred A. (Dimmitt) Slease-Paup, 94, of Kittanning RD2, (Valley Township), died
Saturday, April 26, 2003 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

She was born February 1, 1909 at the stonehouse in Valley Township to James F.
and Pearl (Ruffaner) Dimmitt.

Mrs. Slease-Paup was a retired school teacher for many years at the Smith,
Slagle, Furnace Run, Worthington, West Kittanning and North Buffalo schools.

She was a member of Mt. Union Bible Church and its Willing Workers Missionary
Circle.

Her other memberships included the West Valley Grange and PSEA.

She was a lifelong resident of the area.

Survivors include one son, John H. Slease of Kittanning RD2; two daughters,
Kathleen P. (Rupp) Zambotti and Geraldine M. (Hindman) Rea, both of Kittanning
RD2; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Delbert R.
Dimmitt of Pottstown and Herbert C. Dimmitt of Lansing, Mich.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Dean Slease; her
second husband, Clair Paup; an infant son, Frank Slease; one grandson, Greg Rea;
three brothers, John Dimmitt, James Dimmitt and Arthur Dimmitt; and an infant
sister, Alma Jane Dimmitt.

Friends of Mildred A. (Dimmitt) Slease-Paup, 94, of Kittanning RD2, (Valley
Township), who died April 26, 2003, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and
2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S.
McKean St., Kittanning, where funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday with
her pastor, the Rev. Jack Peters, officiating. 

Burial will be in Worthington United Presbyterian Cemetery, Worthington, Pa.
