Helen Doak Reed
Helen Doak Reed, age 69, passed away April 4, 1978.
Born July 6, 1908, in Schuylkill county, daughter of Ida (Hughes) Doak, of
Gettysburg and the late John W. Doak.
She was a graduate of Beckley College.
She was part of the faculty of Worthington-West Franklin High School for the
1944-1945, 1945-1946 and 1946-1947 school years.
In addition to her mother she was survived by sons, John A. Reed, Greensboro,
NC; Robert Reed, York and daughter, Mrs. Fred Martz, New Kensington and 6
grandchildren.
In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her husband, Rev J. Earl Reed
who died in 1953.
Burial in Churchill Cemetery, Oberlin, Pa.
