Celia Noble
 
Celia Noble, 86, of St. Andrew's Village in Indiana, Pa., formerly of
Worthington, Pa., died Sunday, September 1, 1996 at St. Andrew's.
 
She was born November 6, 1909 in Worthington to Harry and Flora (Hall) Noble.
 
She was a graduate of Kittanning High School, Kittanning, Pa. and the former
Slippery Rock State Teachers College, Slippery Rock, Pa.
 
She was a retired school teacher, having taught in the Worthington-West Franklin
schools for 37 years. After retirement she was an administrator of the Mount Joy
Presbyterian Homes.
 
She was a member of the Jefferson Center Presbyterian Church, Saxonburg, Pa.
 
Survivors include a niece, Karen McGill of Butler, Pa. and a nephew.
 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two infant brothers;
and two sisters, Roberta McGill and an infant sister.
 
There will be no public visitation for Celia Noble, 86, of St. Andrew's Village
in Indiana, formerly of Worthington, who died Sunday, Sept. 1, 1996.
 
Private graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Worthington
Presbyterian Cemetery, Worthington, Pa.
 
A memorial service will be held Sunday, Sept 22 at 7:30 p.m. in the Worthington
Presbyterian Church in Worthington with Rev. Robert Langston and Rev. John
Speck, officiating.
