Melvin Leo McCleary JR
 
Melvin "Leo" McCleary Jr., 70, of Worthington died Wednesday, October 3, 2001 at
Lifecare Hospital, Wilkinsburg, Pa.
 
He was born December 1, 1930 in Kane (McKean County), Pa., to Melvin L. and
Wilda (Gilmore) McCleary.
 
Mr. McCleary was a retired school teacher for the former Worthington-West
Franklin High School along with Armstrong School District, having 35 years of
service.
 
A veteran he served during the Korean War in the 101st Air Borne Division.
 
His memberships were the Kane Masonic Lodge and Coudersport Consistory.
 
Survivors include his wife. G. Jean (Fink) McCleary, whom he married April 24,
1953; two sons, Donald Melvin McCleary of Bonita Springs, Fla. and Timothy Ray
McCleary of Worthington; and two grandsons, Timothy L. McCleary and Jesse R.
McCleary.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Donald Duane
McCleary.
 
A private memorial service for Melvin L. "Leo" McCleary Jr., 70, of Worthington,
who died Oct. 3, 2001, will be held at the convenience of the family.
