W.W.F. H.S. REUNION – 2015 By Donna (Bofinger) Belles The Reunion is over. Gee, what a blast! Always so great to connect with the past. Handshakes and hugs and big smiles galore, Just what a reunion of classmates is for!
Old friends reunited, fond memories discussed, Talk of our children and grandkids a must. We speak of our ailments, spouses and travel As years of our lives we attempt to unravel.
We remember our teachers with utmost respect, Walk the hallway with memorabilia bedecked. We examine class photos and look for our friends, It’s not quite as easy with bifocal lens.
Good, Lettie, and Kiel, Chappy and Mac Sure wish we could have these great teachers back. The knowledge imparted by these special guys Enabled so many to reach for the prize.
The deceased list is growing, many pages in all. We mourn for our classmates who answered the call. But know they are with us, their spirits live on, In our hearts and our memories, long after they’re gone.
Even though it’s been closed for 30 plus years, Our hearts swell with pride and our eyes fill with tears. We’ve taken the journey, we have traveled back To our old Alma Mater. What a day! That’s a fact!
For all those who missed it, or couldn’t attend, In five years another invitation we’ll send. Hope you can join us, our minions grow smaller, But long live the Bisons! Forever, we’ll holler! |
